If I were to ever need an event space, this would be it. The building is absolutely stunning. They also have bowling that's open to the public, that's also a beautiful space. Renovated to look like it did in 1920, what more could you ask for? The experience alone is worth it.
We had the honor and pleasure of shooting a wedding here and were blown away! This historical mansion was absolutely full of surprises! So, many great shooting spots, decor, and it is gorgeous. The staff was all very friendly and the food was super yummy! We had a blast and look forward to coming back!
I got the opportunity to DJ for an event within this space and I was honestly amazed by it. From the friendly and very helpful staff, the bowling alley and bar downstairs, and everything else I was truly amazed at this place. There are two bars in the venue with incredible drink specials. We had 210 people for bingo and it accommodated everyone pretty well. They have various events going on throughout the year so check their website for more details. You can also rent out this incredible space for an event of your own, which I highly recommend! So whether you are attending an event here or creating one I promise you that you chose the correct venue to be at!
What an awesome place very historical 1929 building, incredible service, bartenders, and fabulous gourmet food. We had a fantastic time enjoying our meals beverages and bowling in a classy remodeled historical building. We can't wait until the next pairing night. Love this place.
Historic meets modern with a classy touch. The Lanes has an amazing chill ambiance to enjoy with friends for a party and to have a bite to eat along with a few of their tasty cocktails while you sling balls down the classic bowling alleys going for that perfect 300 game or just trying to break 90. Lol..
We had a birthday party of 12 and everyone enjoyed a fun laid back evening.
The service was great at the bar and the hostess kept the pizzas we ordered coming out to our lanes.

Service: Great. They go out of their way to accommodate and with surprisingly few people. They were on the ball (pun intended) with making sure to keep the drinks flowing and our Lane operating.
Drinks: Also great. They have a higher end cocktail list. The beer list is a little shorter.
Atmosphere: It's like mashing trip hop and bowling and a cocktail lounge. Swanky.
Overall: Middle class funn with a little sophistication. We will definitely be back.
The Howard is always a good time. Whether my husband and I have gone bowling with friends or on a date night to one of their ticketed events, we've also had quality food and drink and great service. It's a great asset to downtown Oshkosh.
We had our wedding at the Howard at the end of June. Everything was perfect and Jo, the event coordinator, is INCREDIBLE. She made our day so seamless! She is there to help plan months out, and is there for you on the day of. Our guests have raved about the food, the venue, and how beautiful it was. If you are considering booking your wedding here, don’t think twice and do it. The venue and Jo are worth every penny. My husband and I are so happy we did.
